One of my community members just reported a 210% return on Ford (F) calls.
I sent that trade out late Tuesday — and when I say late, I mean right near the bell. The kind of setup some traders ignore because the timing feels uncomfortable.
But this is exactly the kind of move I pay attention to when options flow suddenly heats up into the close.
The Ford Call Trade: Timing and Flow
Late-day flow doesn’t care about your comfort zone. If someone is stepping in aggressively before the close, I want to know why.
That was the case with Ford on Tuesday. In the final minutes of the session, the scanner lit up as a wave of call buying hit the tape all at once. When that kind of acceleration shows up with urgency behind it, I pay attention.
Several traders jumped on it immediately. One reported a 189% gain. Another came in around 200%.
By Wednesday morning, F was already moving higher and one trader reported a 210% return on the calls. That’s what can happen when strong flow lines up with clean execution and traders don’t overthink the timing.
Ford wasn’t the only name showing strength either. Intel (INTC) had similar late-session activity, which added confidence that this wasn’t isolated noise.
Why Late-Day Flow Matters
I understand why traders hesitate with alerts that come in around 3:50 p.m. ET. It feels rushed. But some of the strongest positioning happens late in the session because institutions are preparing for the next trading day.
When aggressive flow shows up near the close, it’s often tied to conviction rather than random speculation. That’s especially true when the flow, chart structure and momentum all align together.
Not every trade becomes a triple-digit winner. That’s not reality. But these setups tend to follow recognizable patterns, which is why they keep showing up over and over again.
The bigger lesson is that good opportunities don’t stop appearing just because the market is close to shutting down.
Sometimes the most important signals show up when everyone else is already mentally checked out.

P.S. Would You Believe It?
With all the chaos so far in 2026, one highly accurate secret grounded in momentum has called winning market opportunities across different stocks…
I’m talking about a 34% return on Sunrun in 4 days, 81% on Huntsman Corp in a day and even 102% on Carnival Corp in 5 days. And this same secret is flagging an opportunity on the next ticker!
