πŸ€” My Thoughts

MBOT Popped, I Took the Cash

How I lock winners fast on micro-caps

As you might have read in yesterday’s newsletter, last week, I bought Microbot Medical (MBOT) live β€” a small batch of shares and a tiny lot of long-dated calls. This morning it popped. I didn’t overthink it. I took profit on part of the position and kept the rest small.

Here’s the plan in plain English.

Micro-caps move like a pogo stick. That’s why I size tiny, take the first clean gain, and only hold a small β€œrunner.”

On Friday I started with a base (shares) and cheap optionality (long-dated calls).

Yesterday, live on the show, price action gave me what I wanted β€” a quick move in my favor β€” so I paid myself. If it keeps working, time helps the calls. If it stalls, I’m already light and calm.

What would make me add? A shallow pullback that holds a prior support area on growing volume.

What would make me trim more? A sharp spike into resistance or a news pop that fades.

What would make me flatten? A hard break below my line in the sand with no bounce. Simple rules. No drama.

Why this works for me:

  • I’m not trying to milk every penny. I’m stacking base hits.
  • Shares give me a sturdy core. Calls give me upside with limited risk.
  • Taking profit early keeps my head clear for the next trade.

If you took the ride with me, nice work. If you missed it, no sweat β€” there will be another. Micro-caps will always be there, and so will my rules: start small, get paid fast, and don’t be a hero.
