Major Market Events 

 

• The biggest question in the world right now – will the US strike Iran? No confirmed US military action yet, but US forces are massing in the region.
• Single family housing starts rose in May. Overall real estate market is still quite soft.
• Oil continues to rise on the Israel-Iran conflict. How far can it go? Saudi Arabia may be able to depress prices by releasing more supply. Traders may want to look at playing oil volatility instead of a directional bet.

The world is still spinning…

Maybe a little quickly for some people’s tastes.

We’re not going out on a limb here to say that we hope the Iran conflict resolves quickly and as peacefully as humanly possible.

But part of President Trump’s strength as a negotiator is his unpredictability, and Iran needs to believe his threats are credible…
